Wondering where to start?
Our Worship Service is the best place to get to know us. This is where we gather as a body on Sunday mornings.
During the service, please fill out a Welcome Card located in the pews then place the card in the offering plate when it is passed or give it to an usher. We want to get to know you. We ask that each family fill one out when there is any change to your contact info, and also include your prayer requests.
Watch the bulletin for the NewComers Luncheon. Get to know our pastor, elders, CVC caregivers, and some wonderful cooks.
Potlucks are a great place to connect with the CVC family. Didn't bring a casserole? No worries. Come break bread with us, share a meal, and meet some new friends.
We love planning family events. Game night is just one of them and it's a great time to relax and join a team to play an assortment of games. Everything from Scrabble to Scattergories to Apples to Apples. Jump right in!
Once you feel comfortable, you may want to stay in the loop with a weekly news email. Send an email to the church office and ask to be added to the NewsView email list. (email@example.com)
CrossView Small Groups
Small groups are about growing stronger in your relationship with Christ, learning more about the Bible, and establishing deep friendships. We have women's groups, men's groups, and couples' groups.
We serve not to prove our faith but to live out our faith. James tells us faith without works is dead. Service is for both the giver and the receiver. We all have different talents and giftings to offer.
Do you enjoy cooking? Volunteer to cook a meal for a struggling family. Or contribute a dessert for a funeral luncheon. Are you handy? Volunteer at one of our work days. Or help with Antioch's Sharefest held in the Fall. Do you enjoy decorating? Volunteer to decorate the church for Christmas or Easter. Do you enjoy reading? Volunteer in the church library.
There is no end to service opportunities.
Offering your financial support is another way of worshiping God.
