“Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6
Our Values:
~ To be a safe place for all children who attend.
~ To provide a clean environment.

~ To allow parents to participate in worship, spiritual growth, and service to God.
Important things to remember:
1. Completely fill out the Registration Sheet.
2. Do not bring your child when they are sick.
3. Label your child’s belongings before you come.
4. Have your child fed and in clean diapers.
5. Sign your child in and wait for your I.D. card before leaving the room.
Note: Be sure to read the Parent & Volunteer Policies for a complete understanding of what we expect of you and our volunteers.
Welcome to Our Nursery/Preschool Department
We believe your child is a special gift from God and understand what an important responsibility we have as caregivers. We hope that you find this brochure helpful in answering some of the questions you may have.
Our Preschool Program is for children ages 4 through those entering pre-K. You will see this age group referred to as the “Short Circuits.”
Our Nursery Program is for children from birth to those not yet involved in Short Circuits.
When is the Nursery Available for use?
9:00 am Sunday Service: all rooms are available for the main teaching hour.
10:30 am Sunday Service: S-1 & S-2 nurseries are open.
Please Note:
*Each child should remain in assigned room even after his/her birth date until the next promotion Sunday.
*We ask that you pick up your child immediately after the service has ended, before visiting with friends.
*There is a paging system the nurseries use if your child needs you during their stay.
*All of our volunteers are screened before working in the nursery.
Why Have Special Rooms?
By providing childcare, parents can more freely experience worship and hear Biblical teaching necessary for their own spiritual growth. Babies and toddlers can be a distraction even when they are quiet. We want all people to be able to hear the Word of God and have the opportunity for the Holy Spirit to work in their hearts. Preschool children are more comfortable in their own place. They can move around, play, make noise, be read to, rest, be with other children, and learn about Jesus in an age appropriate way.
What if my child cries?
We will do our best to calm your child, engage him/her in an activity and make his/her stay enjoyable. Some children cry because this is a new environment for them while others often go through phases where they do not want to be separated from Mom or Dad. Whatever the case may be, it is our suggestion to place him/her in the assigned room each week, allowing the chance for your child to get familiar with their surroundings. In some cases, you may even want to plan to stay with your child for 2 - 4 weeks to help them adjust. Please be assured that we will contact you if we cannot calm him/her within a reasonable amount of time or if your child becomes upset during his/her stay.
