Community Circles
We have chosen the term Community Circles because they reflect the overlapping community found within the Trinity.(Father / Son / Holy Spirit).

Mission Statement
Our purpose is to connect people relationally into life-changing groups (of three to twelve) in order to assist them in becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through: praying and worshipping together; authentic life-changing fellowship with other believers, discipleship in study of the Bible; serving others, and evangelistic outreach to others.

Why We Believe Being In A Community Circle Is Important
Having a healthy network of believers who can support, care for, pray for, and encourage one another is an essential ingredient for growing as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Community Circles are a place to build healthy relationships, experience personal and spiritual growth, find accountability, be encouraged, and be supported in their spiritual journey. We believe that the best method of connecting believers into caring communities is through small groups, which we term "community circles". We have chosen the term Community circles, because they reflect the overlapping commuity found within the Trinity (Father / Son / Holy Spirit)

Where and when do Community Circles meet?
Community Circles generally meet in homes, but several meet at the church. They meet from September through May. Most circles meet weekly, while others meet every other week.

What is a Community Circles meeting like?
Meetings begin with a time of getting to know one another. The majority of the meeting time is spent in Bible study and discussion with a strong emphasis on life application. Towards the end of a meeting, members usually pray for one another’s concerns.

How do I get involved in a Community Circle?
If you are interested in being involved in a community circle, please call the church office at 847.395.4117. We try to keep circles to a maximum of twelve people in order to foster genuine relational and spiritual growth. If there is not currently an open circle, we will be happy to invite you to join a new community circle as soon as one becomes available. We launch several new circles at least two times each year. When new circles are getting ready to launch, we will call you and let you know what options are available.

Core Values
Loving Relationships: We all need the support of others, and others need our support. God uses people to reach people. It is in the context of community that God often chooses to reveal His power and His truth
.

Passionate Spiritual Growth
The Bible contains transforming truths and principles that are relevant to the everyday life of the believer. Genuine spiritual growth only occurs when believers seek not only to understand God’s Word, but also apply it to their lives.

Prayer
True life change can only occur through the power of the Holy Spirit; we cannot do it on our own. As we pray for others and ourselves, the Holy Spirit not only changes life’s situations, He changes us.

Serving Others
Jesus instructs us to not only hear his words, but to also put his words into practice. (James 1:22-25) Participating in service projects not only ministers to those being served, it also helps group members strengthen their bonds, grow spiritually, and prevents groups from becoming too self-focused and ingrown.

Relational Outreach
The greatest threat to any dynamic ministry is an inward focus. A community that is not open to new life will become stagnant and eventually die. True ministry happens when we reach out to others and intentionally seek to include them. Multiplication means that we are committed to leave our comfort zone in order to share community with others.
