10:00 a.m. ~ SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE

Pastor David’s message for us this Sunday from the Gospel of Matthew is “The Mouth Betrays the Heart” (Matthew 12:33-37).

In our sermon this Sunday, Jesus shows us that one’s actions and words stem from their nature. This fact not only proves who Jesus is, but it also shows us our own desperate need for God’s Grace.

PRAYER MEETING
Sunday, March 4 ~ 6:00-7:00pm
It is the desire of our church that we become People of Prayer, seeking God’s will in all we do, and thanking him for everything we receive.  One opportunity for this is provided by having a corporate Prayer Meeting the 1st Sunday of each month. Join together as we share our physical and spiritual needs with one another, to bear each other’s burdens, and to cast all our cares upon our caring Heavenly Father. We will also spend time praying for our church and for the Church around the world.

A CONVENIENT WAY TO PROVIDE YOUR OFFERINGS TO CVC
A growing number of members are using automated withdrawal from their bank to make their offerings to CrossView Church.  If you would like the convenience of having Diane Lorenzini , CVC Financial Secretary, set up the automated withdrawal system on a regular basis, contact her (dianelorenzini58@gmail.com847-395-1244) or Adrian Spronk (spronkiam2115@yahoo.com847-356-1621), to receive the necessary information and forms.

FACEBOOK INFO
You may have heard that Facebook is going to show less from business pages and more from our friends and family. This means we will see less from pages whose updates we actually want to see. The new algorithm has been known to reduce interaction by 95%. Out of the almost 250 followers of the CVC page, only 30-some people are actually receiving the CrossView posts. So if you want to continue to receive news from the CVC FB page in your newsfeed, there are two things you can do:

  • Go to the CVC page and make sure you have "Following" checked. That's the basic to step to be seeing our posts at all. But also, it may be helpful to select "See First" under following.
  • Comment, like, and share. The more you do this, the more Facebook sees us as a "legitimate" page and the less likely we will be buried in invisibility with their new algorithms.

OTHER NEWS

CROSSVIEW CHURCH E-PRAYER CHAIN
The CVC E-Prayer Chain is a ministry that serves others through the power of prayer. Prayer requests that come into the Church Office are, upon approval, released to a group of faithful servants via e-mail. This group of individuals is committed to praying for the requests that come in on a daily basis. These requests range from health concerns, relationships, spiritual issues, financial concerns, etc. for CVC attenders and families, and their broader network (neighbors, co-workers, relatives, etc.) If you would like to serve as an intercessor for your brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus by having your name and email address added to our E-Prayer Chain, please contact the Church Office by phone (847-395-4117) or email at info@crossviewonline.org.

 BAPTISM SUNDAY
The 2nd Sunday of each month has been designated as ‘Baptism Sunday.’ If you have questions or are considering taking this next important step in your faith, please call the church office to make an appointment to meet with Pastor David or indicate your interest to be baptized on a Welcome Card and place in the offering plate.

CVC MEMBERSHIP
If you have been considering becoming a member of CrossView Church, please contact the church office for an application which explains the process for becoming a member or you may contact Pastor David or an Elder with any questions.
