Join us for this special candlelight service as we reflect on Jesus’ birth with a special Christmas message from Pastor David and singing some favorite Christmas carols together. There will NOT be a Christmas Eve evening service or a Christmas Day service. May you have a blessed Christmas holiday together with your family and friends during this time.
CrossView’s approved operating plan for FY2018 includes year-end offering income totaling $10,000. This planned income is an opportunity to provide a blessing to CrossView Church over and above the weekly offerings. Please consider taking this opportunity at the years end to seek God regarding a special financial blessing to our ministries. Sharing generously with CVC will greatly assist being able to meet our operating plan. Currently our actual income is $12,000 below the operating plan YTD. When you make your extra offering, please indicate “Year End” on the offering envelope to enable the Financial Secretary to track this portion of your offerings and how well we do towards the goal. Thank you for your participation and generosity.
THE MESSIAH IS COMING!
Let the beautiful music of Handel’s Messiah enhance your preparation for Christmas this year. The Christmas choruses that bring alive the prophecy of Isaiah and the coming of the heavenly hosts at the Messiah’s birth will be performed along with professional soloists, all accompanied by a string ensemble at the Benedictine Abbey, Benet Lake, WI (on Nelson Rd. just north of North Ave. in Antioch) on Sunday, Dec. 17 at 7:30pm. This is a free performance of Festival Arts of Antioch. Free-will offerings will be accepted.
CROSSVIEW CHURCH E-PRAYER CHAIN
The CVC E-Prayer Chain is a ministry that serves others through the power of prayer. Prayer requests that come into the Church Office are, upon approval, released to a group of faithful servants via e-mail. This group of individuals is committed to praying for the requests that come in on a daily basis. These requests range from health concerns, relationships, spiritual issues, financial concerns, etc. for CVC attenders and families, and their broader network (neighbors, co-workers, relatives, etc.) If you would like to serve as an intercessor for your brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus by having your name and email address added to our E-Prayer Chain, please contact the Church Office by phone (847-395-4117) or email at email@example.com.
The 2nd Sunday of each month has been designated as ‘Baptism Sunday.’ If you have questions or are considering taking this next important step in your faith, please call the church office to make an appointment to meet with Pastor David or indicate your interest to be baptized on a Welcome Card and place in the offering plate.
If you have been considering becoming a member of CrossView Church, please contact the church office for an application which explains the process for becoming a member or you may contact Pastor David or an Elder with any questions.
